What We Do

Foundation is to uplift the lives of the underdeveloped community members at the grass-roots level and to eradicate poverty in the long-run through its social initiative projects in five important sectors:

With US 7.2 million investments from KBZ Bank, KBZ Brighter Future Myanmar Foundation (BFM) is spearheading the Water Project in the areas of southern and northern Shan Stat, Kayah State, Manadalay Division and Naypitaw. 

BFM spearheaded the flood relief and recovery operations in collaboration with volunteers from KBZ Bank branches throughout the country. On the ground, co-founders of BFM, Daw Nang Lang Kham and Daw Nang Kham Noung worked side by side with the KBZ volunteers, local NGOs and INGOs to deliver relief aids and urgent medical care timely and effectively.   

Granted by  the Financial Regulatory Department (FRD) of Ministry of Finance in 2013, Brighter Future Myanmar Foundation is providing  microfinance loans, financial literacy programs to over 16,125 women in Helgu, Tike Gyi ,Oak Kan in Yangon Region and Tharyar Waddy in Bago Division. 

KBZ Brighter Future Myanmar Foundation places a high priority on environmental issues. Led by Team BFM, KBZ Bank and KBZ Group employees often spend a day planting seeds and cleaning beaches. 

KBZ Brighter Future Myanmar Foundation takes pride in sending outstanding matriculation students to Japan for an exchange-visit annually in collaboration with Myanmar-Japan Association.
